CALL A TRuce

Can we agree that we disagree?

Welcome to Truce Magazine a format where we can agree that our opinions are not the end of any discussion. We are all flawed individuals who have created our realities- based on our experiences, beliefs and backgrounds. In our own minds, our opinions make for a perfectly good arguments of righteousness, and we present them as law. Nevertheless, they are not always what they seem, and insisting that others agree with us has led our communities and our world into separatism.  Political disagreements have raged wars, while racial stance cause our properties to decline as city and county lines are being redefined to keep people of certain nationalities out. Families are torn apart over unresolved arguments that scar generations and leave children without support systems needed for role models. Nothing seems to be good in this world because the media spreads the worst of it daily while the elderly rush home to watch and grow increasingly afraid to leave their homes. We are seemingly living in a war zone where every household has at least one gun and so many are killed by weapons left unsecured. Our children are unsafe at school, their parents fear violence at work, and we are all isolated. Disease continues to ravage our society and the world many of us once knew has ended. And it is all your fault for you are part of humanity. Collectively, we have neglected our mother and abandoned other family beings.  Surely our creator is not please for we have closed our ears to His words. We spend our time arguing about issues of the past that no one can know for sure unless you can find a human that was there and even then, his memory could be misconstrued.  Women are killing themselves to look like dolls by rubbing and injecting chemical onto their skin. Men are taking pills to build up extra virility in bed. We are all addicted to our phones as scientist research ways to make them a permanent part of our body. In this day we are living a reality that is horrible and truly worse than any science- fiction movie Hollywood could create. Yet the scenarios could go on and on. Someone please yell STOP!  We will call a Truce.
